Health Days 2012

World Hemophilia Day
Hemophilia (also known as: blood thinners) is an inherited bleeding disorder in which the blood does not clot properly. The lower the level of clotting factors, the more serious the hemophilia, and problems such as bleeding without obvious cause or bleeding following injuries or surgery is more likely.
Held every year on April 17th, the “World Hemophilia Day” draws attention to importance of providing best diagnostic and curative services for hemophilia patients. Around 75% of people suffering from hemophilia disorders do not receive proper treatment. Therefore, the theme of this year's World Hemophilia Day is: “Close the Gap!”
