Medical Intern

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Ministry of Health (MOH), represented by the Academic Affairs and Training General Department, has launched the “Saudi Medical Intern” System. The System targets Saudi male and female physicians, who have obtained admission to the Saudi Board Program, for first training level of the academic year 2020/2021, at any of the training centers accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialty (SCHS) across the Kingdom.

MOH stated that application will be available for male and female physicians as per the following conditions:
  • The applicant must be a Saudi national.
  • The applicant must hold an approval from the SCHS.
  • The applicant should not be assuming a job in the public or private sector.
  • Commitment to work in MOH facilities as the need arises for a period equivalent to the training period.
  • The applicant must be one of those admitted to the first training level at the SCHS for the academic year 2020/2021.
MOH pointed out that the documents to be submitted on the employment portal, including the original copies during document reconciliation and contract signing, are as follows:
  • Graduation certificate or academic record.
  • Certificate of internship completion or still on internship training.
  • Acceptance notice issued by the SCHS. 
  • National ID.
  • GOSI certificate indicating that the applicant has no valid subscription. 

MOH highlighted that applications can be submitted on the portal during the period from September 1st to 10th, 2020, and document reconciliation will be conducted from September 14th to 21st, 2020.​
