(Mawid) Service

The Central Appointment System «Mawid» is an application provided by the Ministry of Health to enable patients and beneficiaries to book, cancel or reschedule their appointments at primary health care centers, as well as managing their referral appointments. 

App. Services:
  • «Mawid» App. provides beneficiaries with a number of services, including:
  • Find the nearest healthcare center to beneficiaries.
  • Identify the healthcare center to beneficiaries as the center providing the requested health services.
  • Book an appointment at the health center according to the appropriate time for beneficiaries.
  • Add all beneficiaries affiliated to the same healthcare center; enabling them to book appointments there.
  • Provide the location of healthcare centers on Google Maps.
  • Enable beneficiaries to book appointments at:
    1. Family Medicine.
    2. Healthy Child Clinic
    3. Vaccinations.
    4. Pregnancy Follow-up
    5. Chronic Diseases.
    6. All other services, according to consulting services provided by the healthcare center. Such services, which the center reserve if the beneficiary needs to be referred to, such as:
      • Laboratory
      • Radiology 
      • Anti-smoking clinics, primary psychological care, social service, Rest Assured «Tetamman», premarital screening, breast cancer early detection, remote social counseling, and other clinics.
      • Referral hospitals after booking appointment via the App.
  • The App. enable patients to book, cancel or reschedule their appointments at the hospital they referred to.
  • The App. allows users to know the number of available appointments in all healthcare centers, the actual number of their outpatients; the matter which makes it easier for higher authorities to obtain a comprehensive dashboard that helps in strategic planning and improvement projects.​ 
How to Get the Service?

You can get the service through the following:

  • Downloading (Mawid) App on your smartphone.
  • Visiting the Portal.
  • Calling 937-Service Center
  • Heading to the healthcare center directly to book an appointment.


Service Prerequisites:
There are no conditions preventing the patient from booking a reservation on the system. Hence, different reservation channels have been created, but an (Abshir) Account is required for using the App. or the website.

Estimated Response Time:
Service response time varies from one channel to another; but booking is instant and electronic.
