During its 29th session, the Health Services Council (HSC) has decided the adoption of the national research results on “Health Status of Saudi children and Adolescents”, carried out by consultants in pediatrics at King Saud University (KSU) and the Ministry of Health (MOH), to be as national referential standards for the physical growth measurements (height and weight), the rate of blood pressure and the liver size among Saudi children and adolescents. Also, the Council has approved to put these standards into effect instead of the previous and the foreign standards.
