According to MOH’s Private Health Sector Affairs Department, 57 medical staff, working at private health institutions, have been suspended, because of forged degrees.
Riyadh Health Affairs General Directorate has underlined that they are always in contact with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS), which is the competent authority to disclose any seized forged degrees or certificates, then to identify the institution where the practitioner works and to suspend him from practicing any medical activity. The Directorate stresses its keen interest to clearly and immediately take the statutory actions in such cases; to ensure patient safety in such medical institutions.
