Within the same vein, Dr. Al-Rabeeah approved another decision for the same Committee fining the owner of a private pharmacy in Madinah SR 40.000, in addition to closing the pharmacy; due to finding some expired medicines and herbal products, which are unregistered by the Ministry of Health (MOH) as well, aside from some medicines which are unpriced, thus violating the Law of Pharmaceutical Installations and Products.

The MOH emphasized that it would take all the statutory procedures, including the cautionary closure, towards any health institution that does not comply with the required quality standards of health services; in an endeavor to oblige such institutions to improve their conditions and redress all irregularities observed there, pursuant to the statutory procedures.
