The Ministry of Health (MOH) has assigned a number of employees of the Religious Awareness Department of Makkah First Health Cluster to stone the Jamaraat (i.e. to casting stones at three huge stone pillars in the symbolic stoning of the devil) on behalf of inpatient pilgrims. Thus, the employees pass through inpatient pilgrims to ensure that they delegate or authorize others to stone the Jamaraat on their behalf, as well as enumerating such inpatient pilgrims, who need stoning on their behalf.
This effort highlights that mission of MOH’s employees are not limited to only providing medical and therapeutic services; but also to facilitating all capabilities and exerting utmost efforts to help patient pilgrims complete their Hajj rites.
Within the same vein, MOH has activated display screens at hospitals, the Holy Sites, and various means of pilgrim transportation to broadcast awareness materials about Hajj rules for patient pilgrims and the services provided by religious awareness at hospitals, in addition to equipping hospitals with all legitimate needs of sick pilgrims.
