MOH: 1,800+ Patient Pilgrims Served by Mina Emergency Hospital

​According to the Ministry of Health (MOH), since the operation of Mina Emergency Hospital on the seventh until the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah, the hospital has served more than 1,800 patient pilgrims, with 256 various emergencies, 1,100 outpatients, and 27 inpatients.

 Also, the hospital has received 5 rescue cases, 4 of which were referred to King Abdullah City in Makkah and one case to Al Noor Hospital, in addition to 4 cases at ICU Department. All of these cases have been discharged from the hospital, all praise is due to Allah.

It is noted that Mina Emergency Hospital provides necessary services and medical interventions, and dispenses medications to pilgrims (suffering from general exhaustion and chronic diseases such as: hypertension​, diabetes, heart, and asthma), children (suffering from fatigue because of heat intolerance and crowding), and those patients with chronic diseases; due to exhaustion with movement. Besides, the hospital features a number of medical teams in emergency departments, IC, surgery, internal medicine, and surgery; to deal with urgent CPR cases in the department. The hospital, also, features a department for the treatment of multiple injuries, which is enhanced for rapid intervention (when necessary) with a general surgery consultant, an orthopedic consultant, an emergency medicine consultant, an anesthesia consultant, and a vascular surgeon.
