08 July 2022
According to the Ministry of Health (MOH), the medical team of King Abdullah Medical City (KAMC)-Makkah has successfully saved a 54-year-old Syrian pilgrim called Maddah Ahmad, enabling him to complete his Hajj rituals, after a heart attack. He had been suffering chest pain and put his hand over his heart, fearing that this issue would prevent him from completing his Hajj that he had been waiting for years, and traveled long distances to perform it. The medical team has performed a cardiac catheterization and a cardiac stent was placed for him. Then, he recovered, all praise is due to Allah.

For his part, the Syrian pilgrim has lauded MOH’s health services, the prompt response to his condition, and the great attention paid to him, meanwhile expressing his happiness that his condition improved and he could complete my Hajj.
