MOH: 53,000+ Pilgrims Served by Hospitals & HCCs in Makkah, Madinah, Mina, Arafat, Jeddah and Taif So far

According to the Ministry of Health (MOH), since the first day of Dhul-Qi'dah, until Thursday (the eights of Dhul-Hijjah 1443H.), hospitals and healthcare centers in Makkah, Arafat, Muzdalifah, Mina, Al-Jamrat, Madinah, Jeddah, and Taif have provided their therapeutic services to 53,450 pilgrims.​

“These hospitals and healthcare centers have provided pilgrims with a range of specialized therapeutic services, including eight open-heart surgeries, 108 cardiac catheters, 313 dialysis sessions, nine endoscopic procedures, and 177 surgeries, in addition to serving 459 inpatient pilgrims that were admitted to hospitals,” stated MOH.

MOH added that «Sehha» Virtual Hospital has participated in providing a number of virtual services to patient pilgrims, including four cases of stroke diagnosis, a case of remote critical care, and six cases of remote radiology, in addition to 1,725 beneficiaries of immediate consultations services, via «Sehhaty» App., until the end of Dhul- Hijjah 8th, 1443H.
