05 July 2022
The Ministry of Health (MOH) has geared up its healthcare centers (HCCs) to serve pilgrims and provide them with preventive and therapeutic health services during this year’s Hajj season. MOH has equipped 26 HCCs in Min and 16 emergency centers on the Jamaraat Bridge to serve pilgrims, and enhanced them with more than 1,050 male and female employees, including medical, technical, and administrative cadres.

“The HCCs are distributed over all sites in Mina to facilitate the access of pilgrims to them, and to provide them and workers in the holy sites with primary healthcare services and emergency services, in addition to intervention to save emergency cases, such as heat exhaustion and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR),” stated MOH.

MOH added that the HCCs on the Jamaraat Bridge are spread in the Jamaraat Towers, with five centers on each floor and a total of 16 mini centers, in addition to a center at the Jamaraat entrance that features medical and nursing staff, and first aid and medical supplies. MOH has, also, enhanced all HCCs with cutting-edge medical devices, laboratories, as well as qualified medical, technical, and administrative cadres to serve pilgrims in Mina.
