MOH: ‘Seven New Cases of the Coronavirus (MERS-CoV) Recorded in Jeddah’

Within the framework of the constant monitoring and epidemic surveillance of the novel Coronavirus (MERS-CoV), the Ministry of Health (MOH) has announced that seven new cases have been recorded in Jeddah.
The first two cases, aged 44 and 64, are for male residents. The pair have passed away, May Allah have mercy upon them.
The third case is for a female citizen, aged 62 years old, while the fourth case is for a 47-year old male citizen. They are now in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) receiving treatment, may Allah cure them.
The fifth case is for a 52-year-old male citizen. His health status is stable now.
The sixth and seventh cases are for female residents, both aged 54 years old. They are working at the health sector with no symptoms reported.
It is worth mentioning that 170 samples have been examined during the past period. All were negative except for those mentioned above.
