MOH Reports 7 New CoV-Related Cases in Jeddah

Within the framework of the epidemiological surveillance work, and the ongoing follow-up done by the Ministry of Health for the CoronaVirus causing the Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS-CoV), it announces registering new seven MERS CoV-related cases in Jeddah.
The first case relates to a 72-year-old citizen, and he died, May Allah have mercy upon them. The second case involves a 70-year-old citizen; he is being treated in the intensive care unit, May Allah make them recover. The third case has to do with a 60-year-old citizen, being treated in the intensive care unit, May Allah bestow upon them speedy recovery. The fourth case concerns a 54-year-old citizen working in the health field, with a stable condition. The fifth case pertains to a 63-year-old citizen, and her condition is stable. The sixth case is for a 40-year-old citizen,and her condition is stable. The last case is relevant to a 31-year-old, and her condition is stable. It is worth mentioning that 180 samples have been tested and have proven negative, except for those mentioned above.
