40 Sites for Early Detection of Obesity

The Obesity Control Program has prepared 40 sites for early detection of obesity in 20 regions of the Kingdom, attracting all segments of the society in various places like malls, schools and other places.
The sites provided measurement of height, weight, body mass index (BMI) and waist circumference, in addition to providing medical and preventive advices and curative tips for obese people, as well as referring detected cases to the primary and secondary care centers. The number of people examined in these sites amounted to about 10,000.
