Al-Rabiah Thanks the Leadership for Inaugurating Health Projects in Eastern Region

His Excellency the Minister of Health Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah has extended the loftiest and most sincere thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, May Allah protect him; on the occasion of inaugurating a number of health projects in the Eastern Region.

 

He said, "This comes as no surprise, because we have been accustomed to our wise leadership's continuous care and concern about the health services and their keenness to support and upgrade level of performance up to the aspirations of the citizens".

 

Al-Rabiah stated that our beloved Kingdom, during this auspicious reign, is witnessing a comprehensive development in all spheres of life and a generous giving that has great impact in providing excellent services, mainly health services, whereas the Kingdom Vision 2030 came as a culmination of the exerted efforts and truly reflecting the Monarch keenness to provide means of overall care to our citizens.  
  
He stressed that today we are reaping the fruits of such support, where the Monarch's inauguration of the development projects is an honor for the Eastern Region, adding that the projects will achieve a quantum leap in health services provided for the citizens of the region. The projects include the 500-bed Maternity and Children’s Hospital in Dammam which is reckoned a specialized and reference hospital, providing a number of health programs such as:  early screening for newborns to reduce disability and hearing screening, and congenital heart defects, and heart clinic for children, and other. They also include the 500-bed Al-Amal Health and Mental Health Complex in Dammam, which became a training center for those who have recovered from addiction prior to joining a crew of recovery counselors, the 300-bed Saud bin Jalawi Hospital in Al-Ehsa which is a reference hospital for 23 primary health care centers, serving more than 600,000 citizens and King Faisal General Hospital in Al-Ehsa with a capacity of 200 beds, and lastly the 100-bed Al-Omran Hospital in Al-Ehsa. All these hospitals provide advanced services to the citizens, he said.

 

He went on saying that the projects, which have been inaugurated yesterday, Monday, come within the framework of several health projects to be made public soon, Allah willing, in an endeavor by the Ministry to cover all regions and provinces of our beloved country with health services for the citizen in order for him to enjoy health care with ease and comfort and in accordance with the latest technologies and medical equipment. “By the grace of Allah, and then by the support of the wise leadership and the efforts of workers in all health sectors, the march of giving will not be stopped, Allah willing" he added. 

  

Concluding his statement, Al-Rabiah prayed for Almighty Allah to protect the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and His Royal Highness the Deputy Crown Prince, May Allah support them, and to perpetuate the grace of security and safety for our country, and  guide us to all that pleases Him.
