MOH Launches Vaccination Service at Homes in Collaboration with Careem Company

In light of the high turnout for the Vaccination Service, which is launched by the Ministry of Health (MOH) on the occasion of this year’s Hajj season and covered five main regions in the Kingdom, namely Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Al-Qassim and Madinah, and in order to reach the largest possible number of applicants, the MOH will cooperate with Careem Company to provide this service free of charge to citizens and residents intending to perform this year’s Hajj. The service is meant to reach them at their homes, workplaces or wherever they are, for their convenience. 

 

 
The applicant can obtain the service via Careem app. on smartphones and select Vaccination Service, and then a vehicle will reach him with nursing staff to offer him the vaccination against seasonal flu and meningitis, free of charge. The MOH has assigned more than 500 medical teams to provide the service in the five aforementioned regions. 

 

 
This service, which is reckoned an innovative service provided by the MOH for those intending to perform this year Hajj, comes a part of the MOH's Transformation Center Initiatives and in coincidence with the start of implementing the initiatives of the National Transformation Program (NTP) to achieve Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.

 It is noteworthy that the MOH has a vision over the long term to utilize technology to reach all parts of the Kingdom. According to Careem, it provides a service in the region, which allows the users to request a vehicle with a driver via its smart app. The user can also request a car to reach him within minutes or schedule his trips as he wishes, in addition to the possibility of tracking his itinerary in a timely manner, given that the company's network covers a number of cities throughout the Kingdom.
