Dr. Sendi Checks on King Faisal and King Abdulaziz Hospitals in Taif to Ensure their Readiness

​As part of the field inspection tours carried out by the Ministry of Health (MOH) Command and Control Center to ensure the readiness of the MOH hospitals and to evaluate the infection control measures at these hospitals, the Deputy Chairman of the MOH Command and Control Center, Dr. Anees Sendi, inspected yesterday morning King Faisal and King Abdulaziz hospitals in Taif.
 
He explained that some regions in the Kingdom are still recording sporadic cases of Coronavirus infections, which are mostly resulting from the direct contact with camels, adding that the registration of sporadic cases of Coronavirus infections will continue in some areas of the Kingdom.
 
During the visit, Dr. Sendi and Dr. Wael Tashkandi, the Head of the Curative Services Platform at MOH Command and Control Center, inspected the Emergency Unit, Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Isolation Unit, in addition to the workflow of the Kidney section at King Abdulaziz Hospital. Dr. Sendi stressed the importance of coordination between the Command and Control Center and hospitals to ensure a rapid response when dealing with the cases of Coronavirus and other infectious diseases. 
 
It is worth mentioning that the Command and Control Center's team met during the visit with the Assistant Director of Health Affairs for Public Health, Dr. Mohamed Al-Zaidi, and the officials at King Faisal and King Abdulaziz Hospitals and listened to an explanation on the work carried out by the infection control sections, particularly the isolation section related to Coronavirus.
