Dr. Al-Rabeeah Leaves His Office for the Royal Court, Labor Minister to Lead the Ministry of Health

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, issued today a Royal Decree, relieving His Excellency the Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah of his post and appointing him as an adviser at the Royal Court (Diwan). Instead, His Excellency the Labor Minister Adel bin Mohamed bin Abdel Qader Faqih will occupy the ministerial position, besides his current post. Here is the wording of the Royal Decree:
 
"WITH THE HELP OF ALMIGHTY ALLAH,
WE, ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ AL SAUD, KING OF THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA;
After reviewing the Article (57th) of the Basic Law of Saudi Arabia, issued upon the Royal Decree No. (A/90) dated 27/8/1412H (corresponding to 2/3/1992AD),
And after reviewing the Article (8th) of the Law of the Council of Ministers of Saudi Arabia, issued upon the Royal Decree No. (A/13) dated 3/3/1414H (corresponding to 21/8/1993AD),
DO HEREBY DECREE THE FOLLOWING:
First: His Excellency the Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al–Rabeeah shall be discharged from his current position and appointed as an adviser at the Royal Court (Diwan) at a rank of minister.
 
Second: His Excellency the Labor Minister Engineer Adel bin Mohamed bin Abdel Qader Faqih shall lead the Ministry of Health, along with his current post.
 
Third: All competent authorities shall be briefed on this Royal Decree to act accordingly."
