The World Milk Day is marked by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) on the first of June every year. The world first celebrated it in 2001. Similarly, observing it, the world bodies aim to educate the communities on what pertains to the milk with respect to its sources, nutritional value, its significance in terms of preventing from the diseases and maintaining the health.
This World Milk Day, which is identified and agreed upon by several countries, is a good opportunity to shed more light on the importance of drinking milk, its enormous benefits and nutritional value, which are not available in any other drink. Intrinsically, milk is a semi-integrated food; because it contains a number of nutrients, including calcium, high-quality protein, potassium, phosphorus, riboflavin, which is a very important for all segments of society.
Lower milk intake is associated with many health problems, including, osteoporosis-related diseases, which have shown high rates of incidence, especially among women; due to the fact that the calcium in milk protects against osteoporosis, Allah Willing. The milk intake is also important for children growth and health and for bones formation and strength.
