Hygiene After Hajj

Health guidelines after Hajj:
 Large proportion of pilgrims has some common symptoms after Hajj, such as: stress, pain, muscle aches, headache, cold, lethargy, irregular sleep and tanning of skin. These symptoms arise from exposure to sun, excessive movement without precedent fitness, and exposure to cold and flu viruses. And these are some tips for your health and the health of those around you after your return safely to your country:
 
1. If you have cold, make sure you do not transmit the infection to others by sneezing or coughing by adopting the following preventive measures:
  •  Use napkins to cover the nose and mouth when sneezing or coughing and then dispose it in the trash.
  •  Ensure repeated hand washing.
  • Take enough share of rest, drink fluids, after God willing, it will help you heal.
  • Take painkillers if needed.
  • See a doctor when necessary.

 

 2. If you discover you have a particular disease during Hajj, such as diabetes or high blood pressure, be sure to visit the doctor and take necessary action after your return from Hajj.
